Oxford Recovery Therapies provides services to organisations working with substance misuse, mental health and trauma. We support recovery through Mindfulness, Yoga & Anxiety Management therapies. Clients learn skills that are integral to successful recovery and relapse prevention, providing alternatives to negative cycles of addictive behaviour and routes out of mental health difficulties. Sessions include:
- Mindfulness to develop awareness of harmful and addictive behaviours
- Yoga to develop relaxation and well-being
- Cranio Sacral Therapy to develop anxiety management and release tension
Outcomes from these time-limited interventions consistently show an increased capacity to manage negative emotion – including triggers, obsessive thoughts, cravings, social anxiety, overwhelm, panic, pain – as well as an increased ability to experience greater well-being and positive mental and physical health.
These programmes support clients throughout their recovery journey, helping them meet their treatment goals and learn new effective coping strategies for their future life.
Mindfulness and Yoga courses are offered to groups while our one-to-one sessions combine these three therapies in a client-centred approach.
